Ladders - 5 for 10 gold
Ladders are the basic form of all siege weapons. They were normally used for raids or as a way to stall and weaken an enemy on a wall or gate. They are high enough to reach the wall but not the top of a gate or a tower. These must be carried by atleast 6 men per ladder. Unlike other siege weapons, these are the fastest to set up and the fastest to reach the walls.
Onager - 2 for 75 gold
These are the lesser form of a catapult, they were cheaper and more cost iffencent due to being imported from the westerns. They can shoot rocks across long distances and can take out a wall with ease. Like any long ranged seige engine of this type, it is inaccurate againest troops
Siege Towers - 2 for 65 gold
These towers must be carried by six men from the front, using ropes to pull, and by ten or so men from the rear, to push. Unlike the ladder, it can't be knocked over by a kick or a spear tip. Once at the walls the attackers enter the bottom and climb up ladders, once at the top the men can wait for more men,or push on the 'gate' that has spikes on the end, to attach to the wall and to kill any foolish enough to stand underneath it. once the gate is down, the men charge foward to kill any men that get in their way.
Archer Boats - 2 for 50 gold
These are basic boats, with wooden walls on all sides. In these walls are slits in which archers can shoot out from. These are used for patrol boats or to stop rafts from crossing rivers. Againest the more elite boats they would be easily crushed.
Teir 2- Requires 130 fame and 80 Influence
Rafts- 20 for 50 gold
These are the basic ways to cross a river, stream, or ocean. While troops can cross the rivers and streams normally, it slows them down and soaks them to bone, making them lose moral. This type of boat is used for transport and nothing more, it can easily be sunk by warboats.
Bridge Layer- 1 for 100 gold
A form of advanced river crossing, this puts down a brigde which allows troops to cross without fear, it is the safest way to cross a river or stream, but is expensive and is not sold in bulk. As such it is rarly bought, and when it is, it is used only when needed.
Docking Boats - 2 for 100 gold
Don't be fooled by the name, these boats are armed with two things, an Oak wooden defence, and a large ladder tipped with spikes, this allows the ladders to connect to the boat, and allowed the men onboard to besiege the crew.
