The palace of Vicus Gothi is highly ordained with maps and battle formations. There are troops and commoners conducting their business around the exterior of the palace. In the interior there are generals and aristocrats conducting their business with the Grand Commander of Germania. Seated on the highest throne in the palace is Herman the Cheruscan who through countless battles has secured himself a kingdom worthy of praise. Around the throne are many lesser seats which the Generals and other powerful members of the empire may converse with Herman. Being the capital of the Germanic empire there are many additions to the palace that aren't seen in other Germanic cities. There is a large gate built around the palace that has only one entrance that can be accessed through the imperial guards permission. The city has a large port to the north that promotes a large fishing industry to the empire. Throughout the rest of the borders of the city there are large forested areas that allow cover only through a small region until they break off to show the extend of the city. Trees have been cut down to allow sight for miles from the city gate so it cannot be attacked by Herman's enemies.
