Since this is my capital, I will post this here to cut down on having to repeat myself in multiple threads. The following is simply a description of the lands and some general defenses that are in place.
The kingdom of Britannia under the control of Tilonas Panel, currently stretches over all of the isles of Britannia. Three major cities are marked on maps as major military, economic, and cultural centers. These cities are; Tara in the province of Hibernia, Londinium, located in Britania Superior, and Eburacum in Britannia Inferior. Tara is located in modern day Irelend, nearer to the eastern coast. Londinium is located roughly in the same area as modern day London. Eburacum, though listed on maps as being in central england, for the purposes of the site, it is located farther north in Scotland. Eburacum is also the capital city.
The lands around these three cities are known for being very wet, with plenty of rain, sleet, and snow, and are heavily wooded. These factors give those who defend the lands extreme advantages in warfare, as they are extremely well conditioned to fight in these conditions. [The constant change of weather in these provinces allow me to specify the weather conditions before a battle.]
Throughout the lands are many watch towers, manned by soldiers and citizens alike. Along the coaslines are very large towers, wooden, stone, all of them are different but have one thing in common, they are built as tall as can safely be built. Any distruption on the horizon (ie. Ships) will be instantly spotted and riders can be dispatched to notify the nearest city. Many patrols are constantly sent out to be sure all is well in the lands. [These towers will allow for me to see any invasion force coming in from the sea and give me an advanced notice. This will allow for a possible navy to be launched to fight off the invaders. Once landed, the towers and constant watch by those that live inland will keep me updated as to where the army is, and will allow me to strike the invasion force before they reach my cities.]
[With these advanced notifcation systems (which all may feel free to use) I am able to see when an invasion force is coming, and strike before the invasion could organize. Were the ships to land and the army get inland, my armies could be dispatched and ambush the attackers or simply start a full scale battle away from the cities.]
